Let There Be Light

 

God has described us as various elements to show us how we ought to operate in this world. 

SALT

God has referred to us as the salt of the earth 'cos like salt we're the ones to give this world a flavor and to heal and preserve the earth. 

Matthew 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

LIGHT

God has called us to be the light of the world. Like a candle placed under a platform, would burn the platform till there's nothing above it to obstructs its shine, so are we in this world. 

Nothing should place us below, our position is far above 'cos how well can the world be illuminated. 

Matthew 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

BIBLICAL REQUIREMENT TO BECOMING THE LIGHT.

1. Having an experience with Jesus. The God you experience is the God you reveal to your world.

Daniel 11:32 "...but the people that do know THEIR GOD shall be strong, and DO exploits.

☑️ You see people without anxiety or fear for anything 'cos they've had a very solid experience with God. The believers confidence is derived from an experience with God.

☑️ Fear is proof that there's need for an higher encounter in your life 'cos genuine encounters erode fear. When you've seen and encountered the lord, heard his voice, then any voice that says contrary is being rebuffed.

When men encounter God, they start behaving like God.

2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD.

☑️ An experience with God demands hunger and thirst. You may never find God when you're casual about it. 

Jeremiah 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

☑️ End time ministry demands an encounter beyond oratory. Hunger is a currency that buys an encounter. 

1 Corinthians 2:1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.

1 Corinthians 2:4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:  

2:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

☑️ Jacob got an encounter 'cos of his hunger for God. He was all 'alone' free from distractions and God met him. 

☑️ Life shouldn't be about dutifully chasing cares and keeping up with the jonesses, settle down and hear from God 'cos One word from God in the place of encounter can redefine the next 20 years of your life and free you from struggle. 

Psalms 127:1 Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

Psalms 127:2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.

Proverbs 21:31 The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD.

☑️ The pursuit of God and spiritual things is not an interruption to your becoming great, it's a reason for your becoming great. Set your priorities right. 

Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

2. FAITH 

This is the action taken to show that you believe God's word / promise. Faith in one word is 'OBEDIENCE'. God is only committed at the point of obedience. 

Faith is your currency to buy into God's word in your life. 

☑️ Faith level varies. One could have faith for a rented apartment, another could have faith for a bought house, another could have faith for an housing estate. 

☑️ Grow your faith capacity so you don't cheat yourself out of what God wants to give you With your small faith 

☑️ Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God, bolster up your faith today through your study of the word of God, through prayer, through listening to testimonies of others, etc.

3. ANOINTING 

This is the divine power to carry out supernatural tasks. 

Luke 24:49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. 

☑️ The power surge can come 'SUDDENLY' after a long process of preparation. Learn to tarry in that secret place till God endues you with power 'cos you can't do God's work adequately without being empowered. 

Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

☑️ The anointing ain't only for pastors, it's for others as well. 

You need power to get wealth 

You need anointing even as a parent to grow godly children. 

☑️ Everyone needs God's anointing to sponsor any mission they undergo that's God's will. 

☑️ Even Jesus got anointing for his ministry. 

Acts 10:38 HOW GOD ANOINTED JESUS of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

KEYS TO UNLOCK 🔓 GOD'S POWER 

1. Encounter

Divine encounter is a blessing that most times leaves the beneficiary with anointing from God. Seek for an encounter today. 

2. Impartation

This is a transference of grace from those who carry such grace. 

Hebrews 6:12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. 

OVERALL 

Being born already makes you a prey to Demonic attacks, you must not necessarily be in their trap or have necessitated such attacks before it comes. So don't tread lightly and feel 'cos you ain't stepped on no toes so no demonic force is plotting your downfall. Nah! Jesus only needed to be born for Herod to kill all toddlers around his age. Moses likewise. 

You becomes even much more prey to evil entities when God's hand is mightily upon you, this is where you need that POWER to ward them off and to keep the constantly at bay.
